Short description of the contract or purchase(s):: Electricity North West Limited (ENWL) wishes to award A Framework Agreement for Services detailed below:
1. Stock Management:
There are currently 2929 product lines purchased from 129 suppliers for the North West and 1243 product lines. Please note these quantities are indicative.
– The provider is responsible for fulfilling the material requirement for ENWL own field engineer workforce and contractors in line with the service standards.
– The provider is responsible for maintaining inventory in the distribution centre to meet forecasted demand.
– The provider shall ensure that inventory in stores is maintained to meet the agreed service levels.
– The provider shall be responsible for placing orders with suppliers against agreed framework agreements.
– The provider shall be responsible for placing orders with suppliers against agreed framework agreements.
2. Transport:
There are a number of delivery routes currently in operation:
– direct to site,
– direct to contractor or ENWL depot store,
– from distribution centre to site,
– from distribution centre to contractor or depot store,
– from distribution centre to unmanned stores.
Transformers deliveries are the sole responsibility of the Contractor utilising ENWL vehicles for standard and difficult lifts.
The Applicant will be responsible for locating a suitable area for warehouse operations and provision of appropriate facilities for themselves and any ENWL staff and their representatives.
ENWL reserves the right to make no award as a result of this procurement process, or may award in part or in whole.
