The main purpose of this Framework is to provide reasonably priced, quality, multi temperature catering and grocery provisions.
The Framework covers:
– Chilled, frozen and ambient;
– Fresh fruit and vegetables;
– Fresh and frozen meat and meat products;
– Milk and morning goods.
The Framework will be categorised by geographical region in order to include local Suppliers. Suppliers are invited to bid for as many of the regions as they wish. The requirement will include the need for healthier and more sustainable sourcing of food in line with Government recommendations and standards.
