The current contract for Social work services with accommodation – Framework Lead is projected to end on 11-MAR-21 and may be available for retender. Tender for the Provision of Housing Related Support Services for Grangeway Court.
Over the last 3 years the Authority’s homelessness services have undergone significant change. This is reflected in better outcomes for individuals through the increased use of homeless prevention tools, the introduction of Halton Mainstay (a single point of access gateway), the near elimination of the use of B&B, and reduced reliance on temporary accommodation.
Grangeway Court was developed by the Authority in the early 1990s to provide ‘interim’ and ‘temporary’ accommodation for homeless families whom the Authority believes may be homeless and have a priority need. The scheme as originally built comprised 32 units of self-contained, furnished accommodation housed within 8 large bungalows.
