Up to 200 homes set for green light
Proposals for the development of up to 200 homes in Leicestershire are expected to be given the green light at a planning committee meeting next week.Hallam Land Management is seeking outline approval to build the new properties on an approximately 25-acre piece of agricultural land at Melton Road in Queniborough.It is proposed that up to 40 per cent of the homes will be allocated as affordable housing.The scheme, which surrounds Three Ways Farm, also includes new areas of public open space, a children’s play area and new walking/cycling routes.The scheme has been recommended for approval, subject to conditions.
