Vistrys Northampton plans approved
House-builder Vistry Group is preparing to start groundworks for a new conurbation near Northampton.Vistry has secured reserved matters planning approval for 439 homes at its Western Gate site on Sandy Lane in Harpole.Its Bovis Homes and Linden Homes businesses are set to start construction in the coming months.Vistry has agreed to pay the local council £6m towards a new primary school. Further contributions are being made towards a local centre, play facilities, a library and highway work.Vistry has committed to 15% of the homes at Western Gate being designated as affordable housing.
