Walking and cycling measures lined up for Derry/Londonderry
New walking and cycling measures are being implemented along the riverfront in Derry/Londonderry.Infrastructure minister Nichola Mallon has confirmed the plans on the back of announcing that an array of active travel initiatives would be implemented across Northern Ireland.Pilots have already commenced in Belfast, with the next phase set to roll out in Newry.The Derry/Londonderry measures will involve space between the Queen’s Quay roundabout and Foyleside roundabout, taking about three weeks to complete.
