Watersports centre gets green light
A watersports centre for the seafront in Exmouth has been given planning approval.The 10,764 sq ft centre will provide training and changing facilities alongside an outdoor events space, eateries and six retail beach units. The development is projected to create up to 60 jobs.East Devon District Council owns the freehold of the land, with developer Grenadier taking a 125 years lease on the site, who in turn will provide a sub lease of 125 years to Queens Drive Exmouth Community Interest Company.
