Weavers Court expansion laying plans for hundreds of jobs
Up to 480 jobs could be supported as part of a major £8m redevelopment to a south Belfast business park.Weavers Court is set to complete the expansion of three industrial units next month.Building is also starting on another 40,000 sq ft grade A office building due to open next year.The expansion of the 10-acre site is supported by Danske Bank.Weavers Court’s planners said they had researched technology parks in Europe and the US to create a ‘campus-style’ hub for new and expanding businesses.With 40 tenants, including firms specialising in cyber security, Weavers Court has become known as a city hub for IT companies.The latest venture is just one of several office spaces opening up. At least three blocks in the city are now on the market.
