West of Scotland Housing Association receives green light for first phase of 90 homes at Dundashill
West of Scotland Housing Association has gained planning permission for a mix of homes for mid-market and social rent at the former Diageo distillery site at Dundashill, Glasgow.The homes, designed by Collective Architecture, will be built to Passivhaus standard and will be the first development on the site which is owned and promoted by Scottish Canals.The mix of 1 to 3 bedroom flats will include wheelchair adaptable properties with high quality landscaping and an urban play area.A planning application for the second phase of the 600-home neighbourhood at Dundashill was submitted earlier this month.The Dundashill project is being delivered by Scottish Canals, Bigg Regeneration and Igloo Regeneration and involves land bounded by Eagle Street, High Craighall Road, North Canal Bank Street and Borron Street.
