Work back underway on major Somerset housing development
Work has re-started on a major housing development outside Taunton which will support more than 500 jobs during construction and sales.Set in the Quantock Hills in the village of Bishops Lydeard, David Wilson Homes’ Moorland Gate development will bring 173 homes to the area.Builders are now back on site and working to ensure two show homes are ready to open when the homes launch for sale in the autumn. The superstructures of the first homes are now complete and work is beginning on the interiors. New roads and infrastructure are in place and work to landscape public open space will follow shortly.David Wilson said more than 800 people have signed up to be notified when the homes go on the market.
