Work begins on 210 home development in Shepshed
Construction has begun on a new project in Shepshed, set to bring 210 homes to Leicestershire.Named Jubilee Rise, the scheme is being brought forward by Persimmon Homes North Midlands. Some 20% of the homes will be allocated for affordable rental and shared ownership through a housing provider.Section 106 payments include £2.1m for education, £349,000 for highways, and £114,000 for healthcare.Dan Endersby, managing director at Persimmon Homes said: “We’re delighted to have started work at Jubilee Rise. Not only will the development deliver 210 quality new homes and a biodiversity net gain, but it will also create local jobs as part of the construction and generate significant investment in the local economy.“We’re committed to creating vibrant, successful communities and supporting more local families in getting their dream homes.
