Work begins on 210 home development in Shepshed

Construction has begun on a new project in Shepshed, set to bring 210 homes to Leicestershire.Named Jubilee Rise, the scheme is being brought forward by Persimmon Homes North Midlands. Some 20% of the homes will be allocated for affordable rental and shared ownership through a housing provider.Section 106 payments include £2.1m for education, £349,000 for highways, and £114,000 for healthcare.Dan Endersby, managing director at Persimmon Homes said: “We’re delighted to have started work at Jubilee Rise.
