Work begins on 73-home affordable housing scheme in Norfolk
Work is underway on a £9.7m housing project that will create 73 new affordable homes in Necton, Norfolk.Named Tower Mill, the development is being delivered by United Living New Homes’ subsidiary, Partner Construction, on behalf of housing provider Flagship Homes.The development will see a mix of two-bedroom bungalows, one-bedroom walk-up flats and two-, three-, and four-bedroomed houses constructed on the site on North Pickenham Road.Supported by Homes England funding, all the properties will be available for either shared ownership or affordable rent.The new homes are due to be completed in early 2024.Tower Mill is one of two projects being delivered in close partnership between Partner Construction | United Living New Homes and Flagship Homes.The other is a £8.4m scheme that will see the creation of 53 new homes – again, all for shared ownership and affordable rent – in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex.Flagship Homes owns over 32,000 homes across the east of England.
