Work begins on flagship 7.5 acre Cheshire industrial development
Chorley property and asset management company FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) has broken ground on new flexible commercial space at Winnington Business Park, near Northwich town centre.Detailed planning permission was granted in December last year and work will be carried out by FIREM’s construction division, FI Construction.The plans include eight blocks which will be constructed on the 7.5 acre site. The development will offer 113,201 sq ft of space in total.The new scheme will be targeted at start-up, trade and industrial users.Units will range from 807 sq ft, up to a full block, which will provide larger businesses with up to 55,260 sq ft of space.Tenants will be offered a bespoke fit-out service. All units will include dedicated parking, roller shutter doors and EV charging points.Winnington Business Park, situated near the M56, M6 and M60 motorways, is the latest development to come to market in addition to FIREM’s extensive industrial portfolio, which totals in excess of 14 million sq ft, with five million sq ft of new-build developments in the pipeline.
