Work begins to prepare Sunderland IAMP for future construction phases
Works to prepare Sunderland’s 370-acre International Advanced Manufacturing Park (IAMP) for the next phase of development are now underway after the appointment of Esh Civils as contractor.Esh will carry out the design, construction and installation of the infrastructure required to support future phases of development of IAMP, including roads, drainage, utilities, landscaping and environmental mitigation work.The £6.7m project will be overseen by Henry Boot Developments on behalf of IAMP, and is expected to take approximately 12 months.The first phase of construction is already underway, with French car parts manufacturer SNOP expected to open the first building at the site later this year.
