Work on £20m residential scheme to start
Work on a £20m development to build 135 new homes in Lincolnshire is set to start in March.The scheme will be brought forward by housing provider Acis on land on Bowling Green Lane, Gainsborough.The Greater Lincolnshire LEP has contributed a grant of £2.27m from the government’s Growth Deal to enable the development to go ahead.The site forms part of the Greater Gainsborough Housing Zone designation, and the development is supported by Homes England.The planning application to transform the brownfield site was unanimously passed by West Lindsey District Council’s planning committee on Wednesday 8 January.The development is expected to be finished by December 2023.
