Work progresses on Airport Business Park
Work is progressing at the Airport Business Park in Southend-on-Sea, with Readie Construction breaking ground for phase two of the initial infrastructure and enabling elements of the project.The multi-use site is being brought forward by a joint venture partnership between Henry Boot Developments (HBD) and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.It forms a central part of an ambitious new vision for the area and will comprise flexible business space, HQ-style offices, large-scale industrial and warehousing facilities and a hotel.Construction has started on a 124,000 sq ft unit for first occupier, IPECO Holdings. Plans have also been submitted for the Launchpad, a dedicated facility designed to championing innovation in the area for start-ups and SMEs.
