Work starts on £12m housing project
Work has started on a £12m Leeds housing project set to provide more than 80 new homes.Leeds Jewish Housing Association (LJHA) are behind the project, with 22 properties having been demolished on the site at Queenshill Avenue, Moortown to make way for two new housing blocks.The scheme comprises of 85 one and two-bed apartments, more than 50 of which will be sheltered accommodation for older residents.The new development – which is being delivered in partnership with Homes England – will be connected to other accommodation owned by LJHA to create one large sheltered village off Stonegate Road.
