Work starts on major Gloucs project
Work has started on a 180-acre retail, housing and leisure destination in Gloucestershire.The Tewkesbury scheme features fashion and lifestyle centre Designer Outlet Cotswolds, as well as 850 dwellings, a Dobbies garden centre, a school, recreation facilities and a local centre.The retail element will comprise up to 90 shops, restaurants and cafés.Work is being carried out by Cheltenham-based property developer Robert Hitchins with Montel Civil Engineering as main contractor.Designer Outlet Cotswolds is due to open in 2022.
