Work starts on multimillion-pound depot and vehicle maintenance facility
Work has started on a new multimillion-pound depot and vehicle maintenance facility for Western Power Distribution in Swansea.Speller Metcalfe has been appointed as contractor to deliver the BREEM Very Good-rated scheme, which is undergoing a major refurbishment and fit-out programme.Previously used by Pure Wafer International, the remodelled depot will provide offices, warehousing, a design centre, meeting spaces, IT and communication rooms, as well as garages and a distribution centre.The long leasehold for the site was acquired from Pure Wafer for £1.5mThe Swansea scheme is set to complete in autumn 2020.
