Work starts on new phase of major housing development
Work has started on a portion of a major new housing development in Market Harborough.Davidsons Homes, which has its headquarters in Ibstock, has begun work on its first phase of homes at Wellington Place.This phase constitutes the first of more than 500 homes that the housebuilder will be developing on site.The larger development, which is being constructed by a consortium of firms, will consist of about 1,500 homes, a new primary school, a local centre, a marina with a hotel and plenty of open space. The site was formerly home to RAF Lubenham.
