Work starts on rural housing scheme near Preston
Construction work has started on a significant new housing scheme in a rural location near Preston.The Walton Gardens scheme from residential developer Applethwaite, part of the Eric Wright Group, comprises 46 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and three-bed dormer bungalows in the village of Hutton.Located just off Liverpool Road and opposite Hutton Church of England Grammar School, the development also includes a car park to be used by parents during drop-offs and pick-ups at the school.Approximately 16 homes are due to complete onsite in 2017, with the remaining expected to be ready by the summer of 2018. The first properties to be released start from £320,000 for a four-bedroom detached house.The sales office at Walton Gardens opened this week and the show home is on track to finish in July 2017.
