Work starts on Whitby residential scheme
Work is underway to build almost 200 houses at High Stakesby in Whitby on land formerly owned by the Order of the Holy Paraclete, based at Sneaton Castle.Developer S Harrison and partner Tees Valley Housing, which is part of the Thirteen Group, have appointed Kier Living to carry out the three-year construction project. A total of 190 properties will be built.It is estimated that 200 new construction jobs, including apprenticeships, will be created in the area as a result of the development.
