Work to start on £4.32m business park
Work is set to start next month on a new £4.32m Shropshire business park.Infrastructure work which started earlier this year has now been completed, unlocking 25 acres of employment land within Newport.Following a competitive tender, Shropshire company Morris Property has been chosen by Telford & Wrekin Council to build more than 41,000 sq ft of industrial units under Phase 1 of the Newport Innovation Park project.The development will comprise 24 individual units suitable for a range of companies, with a focus on supporting the agri-tech sector. It is due to be completed by autumn 2021.Ni.PARK is a key element in the Newport Innovation and Enterprise Package, backed jointly by the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership and Telford & Wrekin Council.
