Work to start on £9.5m retail warehouse
Construction work is set to start this month on a £9.5m retail warehouse development in East Yorkshire with the potential to support the creation of 65 jobs.A joint venture between Hargreaves Land and Fintry Estates will develop 44,000 sq ft of new commercial floorspace at the former coach and car park in Hilderthorpe Road, Bridlington, under a development agreement with East Riding of Yorkshire Council.The scheme is due for completion in summer 2021, with Lidl and B&M Retail secured as tenants.The development, which has been designed by GT3 Architects, was granted planning approval earlier this year.
