Work to start on speculative Barnsley unit
Work is set to start on a new 125,000 sq ft distribution unit at Barnsley.Bramall Properties will begin the speculative construction of Maple125 at Junction 36, at Maple Road in Tankersley off Junction 36 of the M1, in the third week of July 2020.The property will feature 12m eaves, yard, dock and ground level loading doors, 23 HGV spaces, 80 car parking spaces, and fitted office accommodation. It is due to be completed in Q1 2021.The development has been supported by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council’s Enterprising Barnsley team, which offers free guidance on access to finance, recruitment and training, as well as potential to receive business growth coaching.Knight Frank’s Yorkshire industrial team has been appointed alongside Colliers International in Leeds to market the unit.
