Your Housing acquires land for rural housing scheme
Your Housing Group (YHG) has completed the purchase of a 5.4 acre site in Chorley, Lancashire, to build 76 “affordable” homes.The site is situated on the edge of a rural village, on land East of Charter Lane in the Charnock Richard area. YHG has appointed Westchurch Homes to build the scheme.The 76 homes will be a mix of with one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, all available in a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership.Lorraine Donnelly, YHG’s development director, said: “We are pleased to have completed on this site, and look forward to bringing the development forward. Your Housing Group aim to provide a variety of quality, safe and affordable homes for every stage of life that will bring benefit to the wider community.“We currently have a number of developments across the North West and hope to bring much needed housing to the area, unlocking affordable living for local people, building thriving communities and supporting local businesses.”Oliver Chan, partnerships director at Westchurch Homes, added: “Westchurch are delighted to have entered into another contract with Your Housing Group to deliver 76 affordable homes to Charnock Richard.
