We can award grants to freelance Artists. We can distribute grants of between £500–£4000 directly to freelance artists/creative practitioners, across all participatory art-forms, to deliver artist-led youth arts activities. By artist led, we mean artists take the key lead in the design and delivery of collaborative projects. Organisations may not apply but can contribute in-kind support to the project.The Youth Arts Small Grants fund will support freelance artists to continue to deliver high-quality, much-needed participatory arts activity with young people to ensure that some of the most disadvantaged young people in Scotland access and participate in creative opportunities at a time when these are being halted or reduced. We want to continue to support freelance youth arts practitioners to develop their networks and practice, while being appropriately remunerated.Intensive Supervised Structured Care (ISSC) provide full-time care for vulnerable young people aged 13 to 20 with significant social, emotional and behavioural needs. By helping them understand their behaviour, social issues and emotional wellbeing, they are supported to make safe and positive choices. This includes therapeutic intervention, life skills and support to access education/training.Intensive Supervised Structured Care Are looking for a multi-media artist to lead a 8-week program, we are looking to build confidence and develop practical life skills through creative arts.We are looking at interior design, decoration and artwork for multipurpose room within the service that young people will be able participate in and develop these skills.Projects should take place sometime between June 2021 and February 2022. Successful applicants will also take part in networking events, training opportunities and an end of project sharing event to offer support and strengthen their networks.5.
