Findhorn Bay Arts are delighted to be one of these organisations awarded a grant which will enable us to distribute £40,000 to local artists/creative practitioners.With these awards we aim to create opportunities for our local artists/ creative practitioners to develop their own programmes of youth arts activity that engage with a range of local organisations and young people in Moray, especially those most affected by Covid-19.Who can apply and how much will be awarded?The fund is open to freelance artists and creative practitioners living and/ or working in Moray and up to 50 miles in neighbouring regions, looking to work directly with children and young people in Moray. We expect those applying to have strong and appropriate skills in their artform, and experience of working with children and young people.The fund is not open to applications from organisations, local authorities, groups or clubs.The overall budget for awards is £40,000. Applicants can apply for up to £5000 and we foresee distributing in the region of 10 awards.
