New homes for Wychavon Town

Homes England and Summix have reached a significant project milestone as Wychavon District Council has validated two outline planning applications for the new settlement of Wychavon Town.

This procedural progression initiates the statutory consultation phase, engaging statutory consultees and the public in formal consideration of the extensive proposals. The development aims to deliver up to 5,500 homes within a masterplanned community that will encompass a bespoke town centre, employment land, mixed-use spaces, educational and healthcare amenities, advanced green and blue infrastructure, and comprehensive transport and active travel linkages.

This proposal represents a central element of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review, which seeks to allocate approximately 10,000 homes to address long-term regional housing demands.
