New INOVYN ChlorVinyls offices planned in Runcorn

The chemicals company INEOS has recently commissioned the construction of a £23M office development for their INOVYN ChlorVinyls business in Runcorn, appointing the company BAM Construction as the principal c.

Going into more detail, the INOVYN ChlorVinyls office development was designed by the Glasgow-based architecture firm Michael Laird and is currently under construction in Runcorn, with the steel frame of the structure now visible and getting nearer to completion with each passing day.

The building itself will be four-storeys in height and will consist of a predominantly glass frontage that will also be protected by an external façade, supported on a series of pillars. The modern offices themselves will be able to accommodate 475 employees inside of new and improved surroundings, benefitting the workers and the company work rate as well.

The Regional Director of BAM Construction, Ian Fleming stated: “We have got an experienced team and a strong track record working for major clients like INOVYN, but this build is a challenging one so we will need to bring these qualities to bear. We know the people who come to work here will appreciate these attractive new office conditions which will really transform their old working environments.”

BAM Construction have recently been building their portfolio in the industrial construction subsector with the delivery of the new headquarters for INEOS in Grangemouth, Scotland, and an advanced manufacturing centre for Unilever in Port Sunlight, with is also in Merseyside.

As has already been stated, INEOS is a chemicals company which specialises in the formulation of petrochemicals and the oil industry and are also recognised partners of the Mercedes Benz Formula One Team. The group is also striving to become more environmentally conscious by introducing a new incentive to recycle bottlecaps and invest in biofuels.
