Southern Construction Framework announces Suppliers’ Days ahead of £5.4 billion tender

Southern Construction Framework (SCF) will be hosting a series of Suppliers’ Days this month in Exeter and Winchester. These events, aimed at South West and South East partners, are part of its early market engagement for the upcoming SCF‑6 framework, which is valued at an estimated £5.4 billion.
The free to attend events are part of a wider programme of regional engagement being delivered by Devon County Council and Hampshire County Council, who are jointly re-procuring the Southern Construction Framework, before the current framework’s expiry in 2027.
The South West session will take place on Tuesday 10 March 2026 at County Hall, Exeter, giving suppliers the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of the proposed direction of SCF‑6 and the framework’s approach to construction delivery across the region.
SCF‑6 is intended to support public sector construction projects above £1 million in value and will be structured around geographic and value‑based lots, continuing SCF’s role in supporting public sector construction across the South West, South East and London.
Head of SCF South West, Kingsley Clarke said: “Following the success of our London engagement event in January, we were keen to extend our outreach to regional events to provide our local suppliers with direct access to the SCF team, and ensure they fully understand our approach for SCF-6.
“These sessions are fantastic opportunities for suppliers to contribute to the shaping of the framework ahead of procurement, and we look forward to welcoming suppliers across the region for what will be an insightful morning.”
The Suppliers’ Days are part of SCF’s commitment to early engagement with the supply chain, ensuring that interested organisations have the opportunity to understand and help inform the development of the framework ahead of procurement.
