4. Description: The awarding authority is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified company for the supply of Backup software. For the avoidance of any doubt, the University intends to award all software requirements under this procurement to a single provider. As the backup software does not fall under a specified framework agreement, The awarding authority is pleased to invite suppliers to take part in this open tender process. This tender is solely just for the bidding of Backup software. A separate but additional tender will be published under the Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) framework for the backup hardware infrastructure required as part of this procurement process. The award from this procurement will be for a 5-year period.
