Industry Chemicals
The supply of chemicals and associated services.
You must be able to supply the following goods and services:
Supply of treatment chemicals, laboratory reagents with supplies, testing kits, spares, on a consignment basis, with minimum 4 months’ inventory maintained on Petrojam’s site managed by the supplier and guaranteed against stock-outs and expired goods.
Supplier ensures all measures are taken to avoid stock-out of chemicals; all logistical arrangements are in placed to safeguard against extraordinary events that may impact delivery of the chemical to the refinery.
Supply of treatment chemicals that are environmentally friendly and safe for standard storage, batching and dosing operations.
Provision of safety data sheets and expiry dates for all supplied chemicals, reagents and test kits that will be used in treatment of all process and utilities streams.
Provision of chemicals in storage containers (for example semi-bulk totes) that are safe for standard transportation (including forklift), to the various sections of the plant and meet Class 1 Div.2 Hazardous Location requirements for storage.
The handling, packaging, shipping and return of all returnable empty containers and safe disposal of any expired or contaminated product.
Conduct inventory monitoring, management and control of unused, partially used and empty chemical containers to ensure that there are no logistical or other problems.
