A call for tenders has been issued for the supply of 2,000 pairs of combat boots.
The boots should have:
high ankle support of an overall height of no less than 8 inches
9 eyelet lace system (comprising of a combination eyelet and speed-lace)
thick vulcanised rubber panama sole which provides enhanced traction
dual vent holes to keep the feet cool and dry in hot weather
The upper section of the boot should be made of a breathable and flexible Canvas/Nylon that can offer a wide range of motion while travelling on uneven or hilly terrain.
The lower section of the boot is to be made of leather that is moisture resistant.
