4. Description: This will include the supply of all sports clothing for all competitive teams and the provision of all the off-field clothing and non-sportswear items that will be available to our students to purchase. The objective of this tender is to establish a rewarding Commercial Partnership between the Kit Supplier / Partner and the Colleges, whilst ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality kits and other similar items, while ensuring value for money over the Contract Term.
The Agreement will last for a total of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12-month periods. The Call Off Contract shall commence on the 1 July 2021 and shall expire on 30 June 2024. If all of the options to extend are undertaken, the final Contract expiry date shall be 30 June 2026. The Kit Supplier / Partner, once appointed, must commit to, and be able to provide continual reasonable supply of all of the items included within this opportunity from July 2021 through to June 2024 in the first instance, without disruption.
All potential bidders must be able to provide reasonable evidence to show that they are able to provide a continuous supply for the duration of the Contract Term, including license holding, product line continuity and pricing structure.
In the event that the Kit Supplier / Partner is unable to meet the Colleges’ requirements for one or more sportswear and / or sports accessory under this contract, or if the agreed Delivery Date cannot be met, the Colleges’ reserve the right to source its sportswear and / or sports accessories from an alternative source.
This Opportunity will also be accessible to University of Wales Trinity Saint David but there is no guarantee of volume or requirements
