Bids are being invited from eligible and experienced contractors for Furnace F-1 maintenance repairs.
Petrojam is currently executing maintenance activities, which will include the repair to our atmospheric pipestill coil furnace. The planned maintenance activities shall be largely driven by the refinery’s inspection findings conducted during this integrity screening.
The scope as stated is entirely subjected to the inspection findings. As such, contractors are to ensure that the items quoted in the bid are stand-alone costs. No cost endured by the bidder in preparing for said works will be compensated unless said works are executed. The cost to prepare the bids shall be borne by the contractor and the Petrojam reserves the right to reject any bid during the tender process. All works must be completed within 15 calendar days.
The scope of work will include the following:
damaged radiant tube replacement
removal and replacement of tubes
conducting the required weld associated non destructive examination (NDE) as per the qualified weld procedure
removal and replacement of tube guides where necessary to aid the tube replacement
