Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a static var generator.
The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Mongolia upscaling renewable energy sector project. Part of the financing will be used for payments under this contract.
The MInistry of Energy is inviting potential companies to bid. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s single-stage. This will be a one-envelope procedure.
To qualify, you must:
have a minimum average annual turnover of $2 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within 2018-2020
demonstrate that your financial resources meet or exceed the total requirement for the subject contract of $330,000
– have participated as a contractor or subcontractor in at least one contract for a static var generator. This must have been with 35 to 110 kilovolt (kV) connection and 35 or 10 kV or higher voltage substation installation. The contract must have been successfully or substantially completed within 2017 to 2021 and that is similar to the proposed contract, where the value of the bidder’s participation exceeds $800,000.
