4. Description: About the Opportunity:
The scope is to supply, deliver and fit all furniture and equipment to the new HS2 offices at Euston. The new office block will:
House around 350 workstation positions,
Contain around 25 meeting rooms and provide additional break out spaces across three floors
Provide changing, showing and locker facilities for 2000 operatives
Provide canteen space for up to 420 people
The scope will include all office furniture, meeting room furniture, kitchen appliances, welfare changing and lockers, reception furniture and canteen furniture. A detailed schedule will be supplied with the tender information.
The scope will require the supplier to deliver and install all items using building lifts, this will require temporary protection to installed lift car finishes. All deliveries will be via the HS2 construction site and therefore vehicle safety standards and delivery booking processes will need to be complied with.
The scope will be based on a sample furniture proposal but the selected supplier will have scope to offer alternative products or a similar quality for approval.

About the buyer’s selection process:
Suppliers must have demonstrable experience on previous projects of a similar scale on large major infrastructure projects. This experience must be applicable and relevant to the services listed. Please provide detail of previous positions, including duration and project.
If successful selected suppliers will be required to go through Mace Dragados pre-qualification process to be included on the final tender list.
About the buyer:
Mace Dragados have been appointed as the Construction Partner to build a fully-integrated HS2 station at London Euston, together with links to the existing London Underground station.
HS2 Phase One includes construction of a new railway line run from London Euston to new stations at Old Oak Common in West London, an Interchange Station near Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and a terminus station in Birmingham City Centre (Curzon Street).
