4. Description: The Awarding Authority require the Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Consumables and Chemicals. These products will be for the general University and delivery will be required at various sites throughout the campus.
Queen’s wish to establish a framework agreement which will be categorised into seven lots as detailed below:-
Lot 1 General Glass
Lot 2 Quick Fit Glass
Lot 3 Lab Consumables
Lot 4 Tissue Culture Plastics
Lot 5 Tissue Culture Consumables
Lot 6 Chemicals
Lot 7 Health, Safety and Hygiene
It is anticipated that a framework of Economic Operators shall be appointed under each of the above identified lots.
Economic Operators are invited to tender for one, two or all seven Lots. There are no restrictions on how many Lots an Economic Operator can apply for. Each Lot will be evaluated independently against the evaluation criteria and Queen’s reserves the right to award each Lot separately.
It is Queen’s intention to appoint no more than 5 Economic Operators to each Lot.
Provision will be awarded on the basis of the top ranked provider within each lot, a mini-competition, or based on a product of specific quality/request of a product at the discretion of Queen’s.
