A defence authority has issued a tender for a general broadcast system.
The general broadcast system will be used in naval establishment to provide zone wise voice announcement and audible alarm for administrative and operational purposes.
Entertainment audio will also be played in the general broadcast system.
The system should be designed with robust and weather resistant units that comply with:
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directives of applicable international standard
The power amplifier will be in service, and another will be on standby with auto change over system.
Alarm operating units to be provided for different positions with following facilities/unit.
The horn type loudspeaker should have volume control facilities.
