A defence authority has issued a tender for an integrated electron counter measure, chaff and flare decoy launcher system.
It should be able to be integrated with tactical data link (TDL) and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF).
The R-ECM (electronic counter measure) system should offer a range of high fidelity active jamming to:
counter adversary’s ship search and surveillance radars
missile seekers operating in ‘search’, ‘acquire’ and ‘look-on’ modes
The chaff and decoy launching system should offer passive jamming/
The specification for the system is that it should have:
ingress protection, the outdoor unit should be ip 65 or better and the indoor unit ip 54 or better
jamming techniques/generator with digital radio frequency memory based, ultra-low latency based and spot jamming
a frequency range of at least 7.5 GHz to 18 GHz
azimuth coverage of 360 degree
refrigerant that is able to maintain required temperature
a 24 inch or more display size
2 chaff and decoy launcher systems
it should cover 36 degrees
a manual, semi to automatic and automatic firing mode
a launcher which diameters 62mm / 80mm / 130mm / 145mm and to NATO standard
seduction chaff, distraction/confusion chaff, infrared round compatibility
torpedo decoys
