A defence authority has invited a tender for a 15 ton jetty crane with a curve negotiating device.
The crane will be used on 2 existing jetty rail track rails for loading and unloading various types of cargo, machinery or items from jetty to ship and river to jetty.
The required specifications are:
a capacity of 0.5 tons up to 35m with a hook radius of 15 tons up to 23m
a maximum hook radius of 36m
a minimum hook radius of 9m
a 360 degree slewing angle
the height of hook at maximum hook radius which is not less than 23m above railhead
the minimum hook radius is to not less than 35m above railhead
the lowering of hook over entire radius is to be not less than 12mabove railhead
the driver’s height of view to be not less than 13.5m above railhead
the height of jib pivot point to be not less than 12m above railhead
the gauge (the distance between rail line) must be 5.283m
a main power supply of 380 to 440 volts Alternating Current (AC), 50 Hertz (Hz), 3 phase
a cable drum designed for a maximum of length to cover 128 by 2 equals 256 meter jetty length
a mains cable long enough to cover a 256 meter jetty with allowance for operation and securing
lifting 07/15 tons v equals around : not less than 40/15m per minute
lifting v equals around: not less than 30m per minute
slewing v equals around: not less than 25m per minute
crane travelling v equals around: not less than 25m per minute
