4. Description: About the Opportunity:
Scope of the subcontract works
Design, supply, installation, commission, maintenance and removal of Lime / GGBS silos and dosing units to the required specification

All the delivery pipe work and dosing units are also to be provided as part of this scope of works including the suitable compressor unit as required. Each lime / GGBS silo should be between 120t to 160t depending on availability and suitability for the works area

The lime silos should have a telematic remote system to monitor their amount of lime / GGBS at any one time and automatically issue notifications should the silos require additional material
The dosing units are expected to provide up to 6% of lime and the same percentage of GGBS. Following bulk field testing these percentages are more likely to be between 3% and 4% but if the equipment can provide up to 6% then this will ensure the equipment is more than capable

Following responses to this CompeteFor advert, suppliers will be shortlisted and successful suppliers will be invited to a competitive tender for the works and services whereby final selection will be based upon a balanced scorecard assessment. The criteria of this assessment will consider quantitative and qualitative evidence supplied by tenderer’s.
