4. Description: The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has a requirement for a single-stage, moisture extracting press to process health-care linen classifications in batches of 35kg. Items included may vary but classifications will predominantly consist of batches of sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, counterpanes and nightwear.
The scope of this procurement is for the supply of a moisture extraction press, its installation thereof, any necessary modifications to existing services, commissioning and handover of the new equipment plus the removal and disposal of the Trust’s existing press.
The costs of any works needed to allow the installation, involving the moving of other items of equipment must be included within the bid.
