A defence authority has issued a tender for 2 multi-function calibrators.
The multi-function calibrators should offer the most advanced and up to date means of calibration for a wide variety of electrical measuring instruments including thermocouples and Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD).
Calibrators specifications
DC voltage must have:
with a range of 0 to plus minus 1,000 V or above
an accuracy of plus minus 11 ppm + 2 u v or better
a resolution of 0.1 uv or better
DC current must have:
with a range of 0 to plus minus 20 A or above
a resolution of 1 nA or better
an accuracy of 0.01% + 0.05 uA
AC voltage must have:
a frequency of 10 Hz to 500 kHz
a resolution of 1 u V or better
an accuracy of 0.015% + 6 u V or better
AC current must have:
a range of 20 u A to 20 A or above
frequency of 10 kHz TO 30 KHz
resolution of 0.01 u A or better
accuracy of 0.04% + 2 u A or better
confidence level of 99% (for uncertainty of all parameters)
temperature limit for uncertainty of parameters: plus minus 5 degree Celsius
sine, square, triangle and truncated sine wave forms
resistance of 0 Ω to 1,000 MΩ or above
capacitance of 220pF to 110 mF or above
thermocouple type of preferable Pt 100 and Pt 1,000
a core i5 or better processor
a RAM of 8 GB or more
storage of 1 TB solid state drives or better
operating system which preferably is windows based
