A public tender has been launched for panels to display public information in the Lisbon metropolitan area.
You should be able to supply 370 new panels.
The panels will display:
wait-time estimation in real-life
notices and other messages relevant to the passengers
320 of the panels will be installed outdoor, next to the main bus stops and stations.
The remaining 50 will be placed inside busy public facilities, like hospitals, inter-modal poles or shops.
The outdoor panels will work on solar energy, captured during the day and stored for the night.
Low energy consumption E-paper (or E-link) technology will be used, and the inside informative panels will incorporate LCD or LED monitors.
The tenders will be evaluated on the basis of the best price-quality ratio and the project must be finished in 300 days.
