A railway operator requires a power supply system for the Lantau Extension Project
The power supply system comprises of the following sub-systems:
33kV power supply system
11kV power supply system
1500V D.C. traction supply system
online condition monitoring system including IEC 61850 system equipment
stray current monitoring and corrosion control equipment
110V D.C. batteries and chargers
overvoltage protection devices, earthing and bonding equipment
protection, control and relaying system
metering equipment
remote monitoring and control of the power supply system
The power supply system provided by the contractor shall be compatible with the existing Airport Express, Tung Chung and Disneyland Resort Lines and the scope of work covers certain modification works to the existing power supply systems.
