Object of the contract
The awarding authority, provides education and training opportunities for a range of healthcare professionals and has a requirement for the sizing, production and distribution of student uniforms. Students on validated courses within the awarding authority at the awarding authority spend 50% of their course hours working in practice. The uniforms they wear need to be hard wearing, long lasting, ideal for moving and handling whilst looking professional at all times and supporting the awarding authority embroidered logo.
The supplier will be not be required to attend the awarding authority for the purpose of measuring uniform sizes. The awarding authority requires the supplier to be able to provide an online ordering portal whereby students order directly to the supplier, this is a mandatory requirement. The delivery of student uniforms directly to students must be no more than 3 weeks from the initial order submission from the student and must be before the placement date.
