This is a specialist piece of robotic equipment supplied by RAR UK Automation and there are no other suppliers available in the market to supply this type of equipment in the form factor required.
The purchase price also includes trainig, software and delivery.
The principal purpose of the contract is to acquire goods in connection with research undertaken by the National Robotarium.

This notice is to indicate that the University intends to contract with RAR UK Automation for the purchase of a MiR250 Base Robot including training, software and delivery.
This is a peice of robotic research equipment and RAR UK Automation are the sole provider for this type of robot quipment in the UK market and can also supply this type of equipment in the form factor required.
The MiR250 Base Robot includes: Footprint of 580 x 800 mm, Height of only 30 centimetres, Load weight of up to 250kg, Operating time of 10 hours, Maximum speed of 2.0m/s, Autonomous Charging station, Plug in charger to recover flat battery, Software, Maintenance Service, Training and delivery.
The principal purpose of the contract is to acquire goods in connection with research undertaken by the National Robotarium.
