4. Description: The Awarding Authority invites quotations for the provision of new shared eCargo Bike initiatives in the Specified Location. We are seeking a provider to supply, service and maintain 15 eCargo Bikes, plus a further 3 eCargo Bikes as supply only. These will be shared-use bikes, stored in both residential and business areas for use by families and organisations across Cambridge City. The contract will initially run for three years, with the option to extend for up to two further years. These shared cargo bike schemes will build upon the strong local cycling culture in Cambridge to support families and small city centre enterprises, and contribute to healthy lives, active travel, sustainable transport and local employment.
